Chico Peace and Justice Center

The Chico Peace and Justice Center is pleased to announce our first annual membership drive! We believe we can accomplish so much more with your support!

Some of the exciting efforts that we hope to take on in the coming year include tracking legislation from city council to the US Congress in order to present our community's support/opposition, increasing staff hours, expanding our Fair Trade store, building a progressive power base through partnering with other organizations, and more. But, these efforts require your financial support. One of the many benefits of a formal membership is to increase our budget, make our cash flow more predictable, and thus ultimately become more organized. Another benefit is to quantify our strength, for example, when we talk to the city council or state/national representatives. With reliable funding sources and measurable community support, we will have more influence on our elected officials.
