50 Years of Peace Activism: A History of Chico Social Justice Organizations

The organizational histories presented here were written by students in Professor Michael Coyle's social science methodology class.  The Chico Peace and Justice Center suggested organizations whose story needs to be told; the students did the rest: visiting organizations, interviewing staff, studying the history.  These are "unofficial" histories, and may contain some errors of fact.  The assessments of the organizations' contributions to Northstate life are those of the students, and do not necessarily represent the view of the staff and leadership of those organizations.
