Zapatista Women Meeting Slide Show and Report

At the Chico Peace and Justice Center. The Chiapas Support Committee presents a slide show and report from the Zapatista Women's Meeting (Encuentro) in La Garrucha, Chiapas, Mexico. 3,000 people registered to hear these revolutionary women describe how they emerged from near-slavery to become resistance leaders. Update on the current situation in Chiapas from members who just returned. Questions/ Discussion. $5 Donation Requested/ No one turned away. Donations benefit Zapatista Health Care.
