WHAT IS COUNTER RECRUITMENT?

The goal of counter recruitment is to to help our youth make well-reflected career choices by providing information on jobs and careers in peacemaking and non-violent ways of financing college. Our emphasis at the Chico Peace and Justice Center is on providing alternatives to the military. We hope that in forging this campaign we can prevent the enlistment of those who may not have access to the truth behind military myths and who would be made to kill or be killed for an unjust war.
