Everybody's Revolution: Exploring the Wheel of Integral Nonviolence is a program of the Chico Peace and Justice Center made up of community workshops seeking ways of creating nonviolent revolution for social, economic, environmental, and political change in our time.

The
Wheel of Integral Nonviolence was adopted by the Chico Peace and Justice Center as a way of understanding the elements of peace and social justice and seeing their interconnections. Each "spoke" of the wheel addresses a group of related issues and problems in our world today: community, political action, spiritualism, health, poverty, environmental degradation, social cohesion, racism, and others. Through the lens of Gandhian nonviolence, each workshop will discuss local to global needs in each area and generate practical solutions to problems in Chico and beyond. Additional workshops will be held the second Wednesday of each month, October through May.

The program is aimed at all community members and organizations. CPJC is especially interested in engaging high school and college young people. Credit can be arranged through instructors in social studies, language arts, history, and other areas.

The eighth session will be focusing on how people from all backgrounds can come together to create a peaceful and just world.
