Zapatista Support Committee: Zapatista Women Touch Our Hearts

The Chiapas Support Committee presented a slide show and reported from the Zapatista Women's Meeting (Encuentro) in La Garrucha, Chiapas, Mexico. 3,000 people registered to hear these revolutionary women describe how they emerged from serfdom to become resistance leaders. We heard an update on the current situation in the Chiapas from members who just returned. Questions/ Discussion followed the presentation.
