Celebration of the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Hundreds of folks celebrated the courage of Dr. Martin Luther King as we gathered at the Downtown Plaza and marched in his honor. The program at Trinity United Methodist Church featured music and words by special guests including the new Bethel AME pastor, an Obama campaign organizer, a representative from the Peace & Justice Center, and the founder of a West African aid organization based in Chico.
