April 15, 2009 Did you know that almost 60% of your tax dollars are spent on the military industrial complex? That's working from January thru June just to support the military. Think of what even a fraction of those dollars, if redirected, could do for social justice and social welfare programs. CPJC and the Beyond War Coalition created a bar graph using giant gold coins at the downtown Chico post office to educate Chicoans about where their tax dollars actually go!
