 <p>The CA&nbsp\;State Budget Coalition held a press conference to explain why a <em><strong>Cuts-Only budget strategy</strong></em> is not only economically reckless but morally distasteful.&nbsp\; At 9am\, the caravan left for the State Capitol. We were joined by people from all around northern California for a press conference inside the Capitol at 11\:30 AM\, and then we marched to the Governor's office.&nbsp\; Four members of our group went into the governor's office to explain our position.</p>
 <p>Although we did not change the minds of the governor's staff (not surprising)\, we did get lots of media coverage\, which spread our message far and wide!</p>

We lit a candle for peace throughout the world.</p>
