Zen priest Myogen Steve Stucky is Co-Abbot of San Francisco Zen Center and is in residence at Green Gulch Farm in Marin Country. He has been practicing Zen for thirty years and is is one of the original members of the elders council at San Francisco Zen Center. He received dharma transmission as a mature zen teacher from Abbot Sojun Mel Weitsman in 1993 in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. Besides training at Tassajara and San Francisco, Myogen Steve Stucky landscaped the organic vegetable farm development at Green Gulch Zen Temple,where he was in residence for seven years in the 70's.
