No War on Afghanistan! Join us in the Streets!

We are shocked and disappointed by our Nobel Peace Prize-winning President's call for an increase in troops by 30,000 to continue the war on the people of Afghanistan. Experts, including Dr. Stephen Zunes, say that there are only about 100 Al Queda fights left in the region and that the Taliban is not a threat to the US or the Afghani people either.
Many people joined us on the corner of 3rd and Main Streets in downtown Chico and publicly declared our opposition to Obama's call.
