Richard Becker gave an informative talk about the history, current dynamics, and future of Israel-Palestine and the struggle of the Palestinian people. Becker is a noted writer and commentator on Middle East affairs. He has been a featured speaker at political forums and conferences in the United States and across the world.  He is also the Western Regional Coordinator of ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) and a noted writer and commentator on Middle East affairs. 

Becker has visited the Middle East on numerous occasions including factfinding delegations in 2000, 2002 to Palestine, 1994, 1998, 2000 to Iraq.  His latest book is Palestine, Israel, and the U.S. Empire.
