One Mile\, Bidwell Park
We commemorated the 65th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II at 8 am at One Mile. We walked to a meditative spot on the creek to ring bells and reflect by the water.
We met again at One Mile at 10\:50am on Monday\, August 9 to commemorate the destruction of Nagasaki.

Dr. Robert M. Bowman\, retired Lt. Colonel of the US Air Force\, spoke on such issues as "\;Whom Does Government Serve"\;\, "\;In Search of Political and Economic Democracy"\;\,and "\;What it means to be a Patriot"\; and \; "\;A Populist Vision for America"\;. His message is for all Americans regardless of political party and values whether they be conservative\, centrist\, or liberal.

Many folks from the NO \;on PROP 23 learned the basics of good media relations and communications for any campaign. They learned how to identify target audience based on what they are trying to achieve from the campaign. \; They also learned about values-based narratives and how to frame the message based on the target.
