Bradley Manning Film Showing, Discussion and CALL TO ACTION

We had a lively discussion about the need for governmental transparency and the protection of whistleblowers at a special meeting about Bradley Manning.
The plight of 22-year-old Bradley Manning, who revealed diplomatic cables showing substantial government deceit, brutality, illegality and corruption, has made him a hero to many and a pariah to others. However, U.S. Army Private Manning has never been convicted of leaking classified documents to WikiLeaks or any other crime. Meanwhile, he has been held in solitary confinement for 8 months, which is considered a form of Torture under International Law.
