Action Alert: Save Education Funding
Friday, May 13th, leaving at 2 PM
Old Mervyn's Parking Lot at Old Chico Mall
California Teachers Association had two chartered buses scheduled to leave the old Mervyn's parking lot in the old Chico Mall on Friday, May 13. They took about 100 people to the "State of Emergency Save Education Funding Rally" in Sacramento. Free snacks and drinks for the trip down and free box lunches for the trip back were provided.
This rally was designed to tell our legislators that we need them to act now to save educational funding for our students and to bring the tax extensions to the voters in November.
