In recognition of the 66th Anniversary of the Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki the Saturday Vigil on August 6th was dedicated to honoring Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
A commemoration ceremony was also be held at the Bidwell Bowl Amphitheater, at dusk, approximately 8:30pm, on Tuesday, August 9th, dedicated to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Information provided about the need for nuclear disarmament in the United States and abroad was available.
