Israel/Palestine Film: Little Town of Bethlehem

Where: Chico Peace and Justice Center, 526 Broadway
The Israel/Palestine working group offered a pilot showing of the film Little Town of Bethlehem on 
September 27, Tuesday, at 7:15 pm. Winner of a number of awards, the film is an account of three men in Israel-Palestine [a Jew, a Christian, a Muslim] who are born into circumstances of violence but choose in time to devote themselves to nonviolent work for peace and justice there. The film was scheduled to open a "Global Voices of Nonviolence" conference September 21 in London and New York. We welcomed viewers to help us consider this as a candidate for a public showing in our town in the future.
