This is especially for Spanish speakers, a reception for the artist. Jose
is a wonderful artist and has rarely been away from his hometown in
Guatemala, so we really want to make him feel welcome in Chico. Please come if you speak Spanish, and Spanish students are very welcome too. $5 to cover appetizers (or $2 for students), and there will be a talk on the
unique style of painting Jose teaches, as well as beautiful paintings and
other crafts for sale for a range of prices. Please let us know if you are
planning to come to the reception.
