G.R.U.B. Benefit

Friday, Ocotber 12th at 7:00pm

Chico Peace and Justice Center

To raise money for G.R.U.B., there was a delicious vegetarian curry dinner served followed by live music from Chico's favorite Ukulele players "Dick & Jane". Also, we featured Mark Growden, banjo & accordion player extraordinaire. As well, there was a discussion about GRUB.

GRUB is an organization focused on growing healthy food in the city limits. Our aim is to educate people on the environmental importance of local food and the possibility of growing most of it right here in Chico where we have some of the richest soil. We don't need lawns but we DO need food.
