Nonviolent Communication Classes

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is sometimes referred to as compassionate communication. Its purpose is to strengthen our ability to inspire compassion from others and to respond compassionately to others and to ourselves. NVC guides us to reframe how we express ourselves and hear others by focusing our consciousness on what we are observing, feeling, needing, and requesting.

The course is based on the books of criticaly aclaimed author Marshall B. Rosenberg, Ph.D. Course materiels include: Nonviolent Communication A Language of Life by Marshall B. Rosenberg, Ph.D Second Edition, and Nonviolent Communication Companion Workbook by Lucy Leu.

NVC language strengthens our ability to inspire compassion from others and respond compassionately to others and ourselve. NVC guides us to reframe how we express ourselves, how we hear others and resolve conflicts by focusing our consciousness on what we are observing, feeling, needing, and requesting.
